BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – Alyssa Trulove of Kossuth (Miss.) signed a letter of intent this week to bowl for Blue Mountain College, making her the school’s first female bowler.

The Northeast Mississippi Community College transfer averaged 151 during her senior year of high school at Kossuth under BMC head coach, Creighton Nelms.

At Kossuth, Trulove was part of the 2014 region championship and state runner-up teams in the MHSAA, with 186 being her highest score ever.

“God blessed me with this opportunity and a great scholarship.  Maybe He will bless this team with tons of strikes,” Trulove said.

Nelms said of Trulove, “I’m glad to have the chance to coach Alyssa again.  She was a leader in high school and will be a leader for us here at Blue Mountain College.”
