Baker University – Women Rank 6th, Men 17th in Most Recent NAIA Bowling RPI

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – After their first five tournaments, the Baker women’s bowling team ranks sixth in the RPI, while the men currently rank 17th.

So far this season, the women have posted an overall record of 38-7 to post and RPI of .621. The Wildcats currently sit behind St. Francis, Indiana Tech, Pikeville, Lawrence Tech and Tennessee Southern. The closest Heart of America school is Grand View who currently sits in 17th.

In five tournaments this season, the women have three top-two finishes including taking first place at the Jayhawk Collegiate Championships in late October.

On the men’s side, the Wildcats currently rank 17th, with an RPI of .557. Posting a record of 27-18 n the year thus far, Baker only falls behind William Penn for Heart of America rankings. The Wildcats have two top-two finishes on the year, taking second place at both the Midland Warrior Open and the Missouri Baptist Open.

Both Baker bowling teams will be back in action on Dec. 18, when they travel to Las Vegas, Nev., to compete in the Glen Carlson Invitational, followed by the Collegiate Shootout.
