Men's Bowling Picked Third in Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Belmont Abbey has been picked third in the Conference Carolinas Men’s Bowling Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the league office announced on Friday. Voting was conducted among the league’s head coaches.

The poll voting was unanimous as coaches cannot for their own teams. Emmanuel received two first-place votes for four points. Tusculum got the other for three points, while Belmont Abbey had two points. Three Crusaders were listed on the league Players to Watch list. Hunter Hawley (So., Dunn, N.C.) and Caleb Huggins, (So., Gaston, S.C.) were second-team all-conference picks last year, while freshman Connor Breaman (Greer, S.C.) was also mentioned.

The Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Men’s and Women’s Bowling Championships will take place at Liberty Lanes in Gastonia on March 24-26.
