WICHITA, Kan. – This past weekend, the Baker bowling teams kicked off their season at the Mid States Championships, where the women finished 10th and the men finished 14th.
The women were able to post a team total of 5,267, and then put together a Baker total of 3,469 after 20 Baker games for an overall total of 8,736, to finish in 10th place, just behind Culver-Stockton.
Kinsey Miller led the way for Baker individually, posting an average of 182.67 to finish in 19th place. Kristina Harris also stayed inside the top-30 with a 28th place finish after bowling an average of 179.17.
On the men’s side, Baker had a team total of 5,810 and put together a Baker total of 3,609, for an overall total of 9,419. Baker finished in 14th place, just behind William Penn.
Baker’s top performer was Dillon Harris who took 39th place, posting an average of 203.2.
Both Baker bowling teams will be back in action on Oct. 29-30, when they host the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge in both Lawrence, Kan., and Topeka, Kan.
