Baker University – Caitlin Lucas Named Heart of America Bowler of the Week

Baldwin City, Kan. – After an impressive outing at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge this past weekend, Caitlin Lucas earned Heart of America Women’s Bowler of the Week honors.

Lucas finished in third place after totaling 975 points at the two-day event to help lead the Wildcats to a second-place finish in the team standings. Her best score of the weekend came in Game 2 where the senior bowler rolled a 221. Along with a 201 score in Game 1, she closed out the weekend with respective scores of 149, 200 and 204 for a tournament average of 195.

Lucas and the rest of the Baker women’s bowling team return to action with the Leatherneck Classic on Nov. 12-13 in Quad Cities, Ill.
