Mosley Picks Up First ECC Rookie of the Week Honor

West Babylon, N.Y. – After just her second weekend of collegiate action, Adelphi University women’s bowling freshman Madison Mosley has been named the ECC Rookie of the Week, it was announced Thursday.

In Saturday’s traditional portion of the DezyStrong Classic, Mosley shot a team-high 195.6 average and earned a mark on 88.0 percent of her throws. She led the Panthers with a 15th-place finish among a field of over 100 bowlers.

Mosley also bowled a pair of 200 games in the traditional format and — along the way — made over 90.0 percent of her makeable and single-pin spares.

Across her first two collegiate tournaments, Mosley has converted an exceptional 91.2 percent (52-of-57) of her makeable spares and 93.8 percent (30-of-32) of her single-pin spares in traditional matches.

Mosley and the Panthers are back in action next weekend (Nov. 11-13), when they travel to Kenosha, Wis. to compete at the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack Classic.
