Lady Hornets Bowling Wraps Up Day One of Track Kat Klash in Houston


HOUSTON, Texas | After day one of the 2022 Track Kat Klash hosted by Sam Houston State, the Alabama State women’s bowling team sits in 17th place out of 20 teams. The Lady Hornets look to bounce back on day two after going 1-4 in baker play on day one.

Alabama State fell short to North Carolina A&T, 964-835, followed by a loss to Lewis University, 1,032-986. ASU claimed their first victory of the day as they took down 23rd-ranked Monmouth University, 894-826. The Lady Hornets concluded baker play with two more losses at the hands of the University of Central Missouri (1,092-797) and Delaware State (1,082-873).

ASU bowled an average game of 175.4 on day one.

Alabama State looks to rebound tomorrow (Nov. 5) in traditional play with matches slated against Maryland Easter Shore, Maryville University, McKendree University, UAB, and Upper Iowa University.
