AQ Men Place Fifth at Second WHAC Jamboree

Allen Park, Mich. ā€“ The men’s bowling team competed in the second WHAC jamboree of the season today (Nov. 5) at Thunderbowl Lanes. After four individual games and four sets of baker games, the Saints would place fifth with a pin total of 6,460 pins.

Lawrence Tech would win the event with a total of 6,780 pins. Indiana Tech (6,754 pins), Concordia (6,502 pins), and Madonna (6,483 pins) would finish up the tournament as the second, third, and fourth-placed teams.

Jonathan Garland was the top-ranked bowler for the Saints today, finishing in 22nd place with 720 pins over four games. He bowled a 178, 176, 167, and 199 in his four games.

Brandon Foster finished the event in 34th place after scoring a 191, 134, 198, and 175 for a total of 698 pins.

Dylan Vermilyea bowled three games for AQ, scoring a 192, 188, and 181. His 561 accumulative pin total landed him in 60th place individually.

Abery Thomas III and Michael Deming also bowled three games for the Saints. Thomas III bowled a 199, 155, and 162 in his three games for a total of 516 pins. Deming scored a 228, 160, and 121 in his three games for an accumulative total of 509 pins. The two bowlers would place 72nd and 74th respectively.

James Ruoff bowled two games consisting of a 139 and 208 game score. His total of 347 pins earned him a spot in 100th place on the leaderboard.

Jack Wicker bowled one game today and scored a 141, landing himself in 134th place individually.

Kyle Cameron, Nathan Kozminski, Riley Devereaux, Brendan Madej, and Mark Musgrave competed as a second team for the Saints men today. The five men placed sixth out of ten other second teams with a pin total of 5,610 pins.

Cameron would place 39th individually after game scores of 186, 143, 159, and 197 for a total of 685 pins.

Kozminski would finish just behind Cameron with a 44th place finish. His four-game total of 657 pins came from games of 170, 153, 157, and 177.

Devereaux bowled four individual games of 144, 181, 158, and 156 for a total of 639 pins. His 639-pin total landed him in 49th place on the leaderboard.

Madej and Musgrave would place 58th and 63rd individually after their respective four games. Madej bowled a 137, 146, 173, and 125 to finish with 581 pins. Musgrave bowled a 542 from game scores of 127, 128, 152, and 135.

The Saints are back in action next Friday (Nov. 11) to compete in the Siena…
