Saints Place Fourth at Adrian College Open


Adrian, Mich. – The Saints men’s bowling squad continued their good season yesterday (Nov. 11) with a fourth-place finish. AQ finished with 7,091 pins after four individual series of games and four sets of baker games.

The host team, Adrian College, won the Adrian College Open with a pin total of 7,273 pins. Spring Arbor (7,223 pins) and Siena Heights (7,153 pins) finished the event in second and third place,

respectively. Bowling Green State University scored 6,969 pins to round out the top five teams.

Brandon Foster finished the open in sixth place with a four-game pin total of 854. He bowled a 223, 200, 195, and 236 in his four games for an average of 213.5 pin per game.

James Ruoff place 18th with a total of 794 pins, averaging 198.5 pins per game. He bowled games of 183, 195, 226, and 190.

Abery Thomas III finished the open in 32nd place after a four-game total of 735 pins. He averaged 183.75 pins per game from scores of 156, 202, 181, and 196 in his four games.

Jonathan Garland finished 46th after bowling three game for AQ. He totaled 614 pins from scores of 211, 188, and 215, averaging 204.67 pins per game.

The Saints will be back in action on December 3rd to compete in the third AHBA tournament of the season. The tournament will be held at Thunderbowl Lanes in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
