Men's Bowling Wins AC Open; Winters Individual Winner at Halo Classic


ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men’s bowling team won its first tournament last weekend as they hosted the AC Open at the Lenawee Recreation Bowling Center. The Bulldogs hosted a 13-team tournament last Friday where they placed first with a total of 7,273.
 
Adrian was led by three top-10 finishes during the tournament. David Winters placed second for the Bulldogs with a score of 890 to average 222.5. Cameron Klein finished third in the field with a score of 880 to average 220 during the four games. Joshua Felcoski placed seventh in the tournament averaging 209.5 in four games.
 
Griffin Reynard finished 20th on the game with an average of 198 followed by Jacob Harvey who placed 21st with a 195.5 average.
 
The Bulldogs defeated second place Spring Arbor University by 50 followed by Siena Heights by 120.
 
Adrian followed up the tournament victory with a third place finish the next day in the Halo Classic hosted by Siena Heights. Adrian totaled a score of 7,029 and were led by Winters who won the tournament as an individual with a score of 225.333. Klein finished fifth on the day and Reynard placed 22nd.
 
The Bulldogs will compete next at the BGSU Classic in Bowling Green, Ohio at Cedar Lanes on Saturday, November 19.
