Bowling Completes Weekend Play at Mid-Winter Invitational


JONESBORO, Ark. – The Alabama A&M bowling team concluded their competition over the weekend in the Mid-Winter Invitational, finishing with a record of 2-9 overall in the tournament.
 
The Bulldogs started off the day with a tight win over Tusculum by a score of 851-850, before falling in the second game of the day against host school Arkansas State 1013-838.
 

Following the matchup against the Red Wolves, Alabama A&M dropped games against Sam Houston State (1168-920), Louisiana Tech (1155-948), and Youngstown State (962-836).
 
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs fell in the first round of bracket play sunder to SWAC opponent Jackson State, finishing 16th on the weekend.
 
Up Next

Alabama A&M will return to the lanes next month as they are set to compete in the National Bowling Association Invitational in Atlanta, Georgia.
