Aurora University junior Karlea Ceasario was named as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Bowler of the Week, Wednesday, March 1. The honor is the first of the season for Ceasario and fourth of her career.
Ceasario earned the weekly CCIW honor after she won the Quincy University Hawk Invitational, earning MVP and All-Tournament Team recognition. Ceasario averaged a 208 with 1,040 total pin falls. In the Spartans record setting game score of 1,012, Ceasario broke her own AU school record with a 227.
Next action for the Spartan women’s bowling team comes on Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5 when they compete in CCIW Competition weekend at Stardust Bowl in Addison, Illinois.
