GASTONIA, N.C. — Fourth-seeded Belmont Abbey guaranteed itself a match on Sunday by splitting two matches Saturday in the 2023 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Bowling Championship. The Crusaders rallied from a 3-2 deficit for a 4-3 win over No. 1 seed Kentucky Wesleyan in the second round, but fell by a 4-3 score to No. 2 Lincoln Memorial in the winner’s bracket final.
The Abbey will face No. 3 Emmanuel on Sunday at 12 noon for a berth in the championship match against LMU.
