ARLINGTON, Texas — Free games of bowling will be among the wide array of prizes available to consumers in the “Let’s Summer!” promotion coming to more than 180 chain and independent retailers this summer.
Strike Ten Entertainment and Go Bowling are partnering with Pepsi and Lay’s in the on-package promotion, which will utilize codes that consumers can scan in stores. Participating brands include the beverages and snacks of summer, including Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Starry, Mug, Bubly, Manzanita Sol, Brisk, Lipton, Rockstar, Fritos, Lay’s, Doritos, Tostitos, Ruffles, Cheetos, and Pop Corners.
Consumers will be encouraged to purchase multiple products with a “save $3 on five items” offer via retailer app integrations or on-product stickers, depending on the retailer.
Consumers who purchase participating products can scan their QR codes on in-store point-of-sale systems or by visiting chipsnsips.com. Many stores will promote the program with large “Let’s Summer!” displays.
It’s a high-profile agreement for Go Bowling, as other partner brands awarding entertainment prizes include Regal (Cinemas) and Great Wolf Lodge. Travel and lodging prizes will be provided by Carnival (Cruise Lines) and JetBlue.
Go Bowling will redeem winning vouchers for a free game of bowling at Strike Ten locations across the country.
