Smith Named CIAA Bowling Rookie of the Month

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bowie State’s Kamryn Smith of the women’s bowling team was named this month’s Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Bowling Rookie of the Month announced by the league office Monday. 

A native of Accokeek, Md., Smith led the Bulldogs with the newcomer highest average of 157.44. She had two high games of 193 and 196 for Bowie State. The Bulldogs went 12-0 for the weekend at CIAA Event I.
