Fraticelli Earns Spot on All-ECC Third Team

Rochester, N.Y. – With the league welcoming all of its bowlers to Rochester this weekend for its annual championship, the East Coast Conference unveiled its 2024 All-Conference selections Friday, and Adelphi University’s Blanca Fraticelli was pegged to the All-ECC Third Team.

An ECC Rookie of the Year selection back in 2021-22, Fraticelli is earning an ECC All-Conference citation for the second time in her career.

As a senior and team captain, Fraticelli has outperformed more than 50.0 percent of bowlers in the conference. She ranks among the ECC’s Top 10 leaders in spare- and split-conversion rate, and carries a 178.5 average in the 10th frame that pits her among the league’s leading anchor bowlers.

Fraticelli has nearly matched her ECC Rookie of the Year numbers from two seasons ago, attaining a 180.6 Baker average and a 181.5 traditional average in a league-leading 1,185 frames played.

At the third-annual DezyStrong Classic, Fraticelli led off the tournament with seven consecutive strikes, leading to a career game of 264 and a 207.2 average that nearly crowned her as the tournament’s individual champion.

Fraticelli and the Panthers are vying for an ECC Championship this weekend (Mar. 22-24) at AMF Dewey Garden Lanes in Rochester.
