Men's Bowling Claims No. 3 Seed, Tops Walsh in First Round


GASTONIA, N.C. — Belmont Abbey rolled a three-game series total of 2998 pins, earning the No. 3 seed during the qualifying round of the 2024 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Men’s Bowling Championship, being held at George Pappas Liberty Lanes in Gastonia.

In the first round of play, contested later in the evening, the Crusaders defeated No. 4 Walsh, 4-2.

With the win, the Crusaders advance to a winner’s bracket matchup against No. 2 Emmanuel at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
