Men's Bowling Places 12th at the 19-Team Alma College Classic


JACKSON, Mich.–The Adrian Bulldogs men’s bowling team traveled to Jax 60 Lanes on Saturday, Feb. 8, to participate in the first-ever Alma College Scotty Classic. Adrian rolled a 6,538 pin-total finishing 12th out of 19 schools. The format of this tournament was four individual games and four sets of bakers.

Individually for the Bulldogs, freshman Cameron Klein and senior Austin Foate threw very similar sets of 743 and 741 for four games. Klein averaged 185.8 and Foate averaged 185.3. Klein finished in 38th place out of 161 bowlers and Foate finished 41st. Junior Jansen Stone and senior Jared Caudill were not too far behind throwing sets of 737 and 732 for four games. Stone averaged 184.3 and Caudill averaged 183. Stone finished 46th and Caudill was 50th. Senior Jadin Majewski started the first two games and freshman Griffin Reynard finished out the last two games.

On the junior varsity side, freshman Tyler Warren threw a 729 for four games, averaging 182.3. Warren was able to make the JV all-tournament team.

Bowling Green took first, Concordia–Michigan took second and Lourdes finished in third.
