INDIANAPOLIS–-The Adrian College men’s bowling program competed in the 51st annual Hoosier Classic on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15-16, when the Bulldogs earned 53rd place out of 78 teams. The format for this weekend was six individual games and three sets of five bakers.
For the Adrian individuals, the team had three solid student-athletes that helped the team compete during the weekend. The team shot a 5,380 for the six sets combined. Senior Austin Foate led the team with a 1,152 series for six games. Foate averaged 192 and placed 107 out of 524 bowlers. Not far behind was freshman Cameron Klein throwing a 1,151 for six games. He averaged 191.83 and placed 110th. Freshman Noah Bany bowled five games and threw a 941 to average 188. Junior Jansen Stone bowled six games and threw a 1,001, averaging 166.83. Seniors Jadin Majewski and Jared Caudill both bowled a few games and contributed to the team score.
During bakers, the team threw a 2,616 for 15 games. Freshman Griffin Reynard and junior Joe Borowski both contributed to the bakers. Adrian wound up with 7,996 total pins.
