The Aquinas men’s bowling team and head coach, Scott Curtis, are pleased the announce the signing of Mark Musgrave III to the 2021-22 recruiting class. Coming to Aquinas from Wayland, Michigan, Musgrave III is currently finishing up his senior year at Wayland Union High School and will start classes at AQ in the fall of 2022.
Beginning his bowling career as a freshman in high school, Musgrave III quickly developed into an all-conference honorable mention selection during his junior season. Along with being on the Wildcats varsity bowling team, he also has participated in youth leagues at Spectrum Lanes to continue to develop his craft.
“Mark comes to the Aquinas program with a solid foundation in the classroom, as well as on the lanes,” explained coach Curtis. “He will continue to grow at the college level, strengthening our program throughout the next four years. Welcome to Saint Nation, Mark!”
Planning on dual majoring in sport management and music education, Musgrave III had this to say about his decision to come to AQ: “I chose Aquinas College because of the academic opportunity I feel they can provide for me. No other college has offered me the chance to be around such well-rounded student-athletes. I feel my role on the team can be a useful one and I’m up for the challenge to compete at the next level.”
