Garden City, N.Y. – A New Jersey county champion is coming in to further strengthen an already championship-contending Adelphi University women’s bowling team for the 2022-23 season.
Madison Mosley led the Howell High School girls’ bowling team to a Monmouth County Championship in 2021-22, and will look to help deliver an ECC title back to Garden City for the first time since 2017.
Last season, the Panthers narrowly missed out on an ECC Championship, after losing to Wilmington University in the best-of-three championship mega-match.
Mosley rolled the high individual series at the Monmouth County Tournament last spring with a 622 and twice garnered All-State recognition across her high school tenure.
“We are so excited to have Madison join the Panther family this season. She will be a complement to this talented group of young women and we look forward to her becoming an immediate contributor to our program,” said Head Coach Dennis Kearney.
“I’m excited for us to return to the lanes and get this season underway,” Kearney continued. “Our athletes have been working hard in the off-season and are looking to pick up where they left off in the ECC Championship final last season.”
“We are returning most of our squad and have added a determined freshman who will help us maintain a standard of where we need to be to compete for a championship.”
