Alabama State Claims Ninth Sadie Magee/Barbara Jacket Award

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Alabama State University Athletics Department claimed the Southwestern Athletic Conference’s Sadie Magee/Barbara Jacket Award as the conference’s top women’s athletics program.

Alabama State finished with 94 points in the women’s final standings to bring home the Sadie Magee/Barbara Jacket Award for the ninth time in 10 years. Jackson State (85 points) and Prairie View A&M (83 points) finished second and third, respectively.

The student-athletes, coaches, and staff achieved this great honor through focus, accountability, resiliency,  competitiveness, excellent work ethic, and team culture, SWARMAS1”
