A-State Bowling Earns NTCA All-Academic Honors


JONESBORO, Ark. (7/12/23) – Five Arkansas State women’s bowling student-athletes were named to the NTCA All-Academic Team and the A-State squad was among 42 programs to earn NTCA All-Academic Team Award distinction.

To earn the NTCA All-Academic Award, programs must have a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher. A-State posted a 3.358 GPA to be among the 57 programs on the list. Shalee Bradley, Sarah Sanes, Emma Stull, Karli VanDuinen and Faith Welch each posted a GPA above 3.4 to be among the 285 honorees representing 57 schools on the NTCA All-Academic Team.

A-State finished runner-up at the National Collegiate Bowling Championship for just the third time in program history. The Red Wolves finished the postseason unbeaten in mega-matches, winning the Southland Bowling League title for the third time in program history.
