INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Belmont Abbey’s varsity team started baker play on fire, climbing into the early lead, but settled for a seventh-place finish at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout. The junior varsity entry placed fourth, just two pins out of third.
The varsity team totaled 3259 pins on Sunday for a two-day score of 9669, while the junior varsity dropped 3310 pins in baker play for a final tally of 9327.Ā
