Men Second, Women Seventh in WHAC Jamboree #4


Allen Park, Mich. — The Aquinas bowling teams competed in the WHAC Jamboree #4 on Saturday (Feb. 3) at the Thunderbowl. The men placed in second out of 12 teams while the women took seventh out of 12 teams. 

MEN

Aquinas finished in the Top 3 after taking down 7,548 total pins. Lawrence Tech won the men’s competition with a team total of 7,853 pins. Indiana Tech came up behind the Saints with 7,489.

Abery Thomas performed best on the mens side by taking 16th overall.

Here is how everyone performed individually:

 

WOMEN

The Saints tallied 6,364 total pins for a seventh-place finish. Concordia won the competition with 6,967 pins followed by Indiana Tech (6,840) and Cleary (6,676).

Kayla Van Liden dominated the lanes as she placed 1st overall. Van Linden out paced the second place finish by 22 total pins.

This Jamboree marks the final WHAC competition until the WHAC Championship.
