LOCKPORT, Ill. | Nariya Jackson averaged a 194.6 total pinfall in five games as the Alabama A&M University women’s bowling team concluded play at the Flyer Classic at the Strike N’ Spare II on Sunday by finishing 14th.
Jackson, who finished 14th, rolled a 237 against Neman and a 201 in a win over Augustana in traditional matches on her way to a total of 973 pinfall as Alabama A&M.
Alabama A&M went 3-2 in traditional matches, with victories over Augustana, Carthage and Dominican, while falling to Wright State and Newman. In baker matches, the Bulldogs went 2-3, picking up victories over Lewis (891-830) and Aurora (963-903).
Rose Ugbinada finished 29th with a 184.8 average pinfall as she rolled a 213 in the win over Carthage. Nila Dulcio, who was 46th, averaged a 169.6 pinfall and Tamyra Long averaged a 160.4 pinfall to place 53rd. Alexis Orchard rounded out the team by averaging a 178.5 in four matches.
In bracket play, the Bulldogs fell to Valparasio, Wisconsin-Whitewater and Lewis to finish 14th.
