WICHITA, Kan. — The Augustana Vikings women’s bowling team has been recognized as one of 61 All-Academic Team Award recipients for the 2023-24 season by the National Tenpin Coaches Association, the organization announced Tuesday.
The Vikings concluded the 2023-24 academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.400 to sit at No. 42 in all NCAA Divisions.
Augie also had four student-athletes named NTCA All-Academic. This year there were 364 honorees representing NCAA bowling programs at 74 schools. To qualify for this award, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic year.
Augustana’s recipients for the 2023-24 season are:
Audrey Bezella – Sophomore – Sociology
Cami Flores – Junior – Anthropology
Cassie Kontos – Freshman – Education
Delaney Walsh – Senior – Kinesiology
