Six Named to ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll from Women's Bowling


COLONIA, N.J. – The East Coast Conference has announced that over 1,450 student-athletes have been named to the league’s 2023-24 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, including six from Adelphi University women’s bowling.

“It is an honor to recognize all of these student-athletes that have applied hard work and commitment to excel in the classroom and on their teams,” said ECC Commissioner Jessica Grasso. “The conference is proud to have them as ECC student-athletes.”

In addition to league recognition, the Panthers posted a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.414 in 2023-24, surpassing the standard of 3.2 to be eligible for National Tenpin Coaches Association All-Academic merits. Six individuals were named to the ECC Honor roll including the five that were recognized by the NTCA, and Brianna Tringali

The Commissioner’s Honor Roll is awarded to student-athletes who receive a 3.25 or better cumulative grade point average. This annual recognition, in addition to the conference’s Scholar-Athlete awards, helps to uphold the East Coast Conference’s mission of promoting the total person and the ability to excel not only in the athletic arena, but also in the classroom.
