Men's Bowling Strikes Into Action and Releases 2024-25 Schedule


Grand Rapids, Mich. – The Men’s Bowling team is striking into action in under 20 days, kicking off their season at the Jackson Open on Sep. 28th. The team will be bowling on the road once more at the Midwest Collegiate Championships on Oct. 5th before hosting The Nelson. The Saints will compete at the Great Lakes Open Nov. 2nd and the Michigan Open Dec. 7th before entering more tournament play.  

Aquinas will compete in a series of back-to-back tournaments, including the Roto Grip Classic, Leigh Valley Classic, and Kegel Midwest Classic. Following this competitive stretch, the Saints will slow down for the Greater Detroit Open, where they will face off against Lourdes. Afterward, Aquinas will turn their attention to the WHAC Tournament, scheduled for February 23rd.

The Aquinas Men’s Bowling team had a memorable 2023-24 season, kicking off with a 5th-place finish at the Dirty Bird Classic. The team shined at the Warrior Classic, securing 2nd out of 13 teams, and later took a 5th-place finish at the Cornerstone Classic. The Saints consistently placed well in WHAC Jamborees, with their best performance coming in WHAC Jamboree, where they finished 2nd out of 12 teams before falling to a 4th-place finish in the WHAC Championships.

The Saints are thrilled to have Deming back on the roster after an impressive 2022-23 season, where he averaged 202.4 pins per game. He bowled over 200 in 27 of his 47 games, with a season-high of 276 pins. Looking at his 2023-24 season Deming continues to show up big for the Saints, averaging 200.82 pins per game, with a season high of 273. His consistency has made him a key returning player that will help aid in future success for the team.
