Crusaders Picked to Repeat as Conference Carolinas Women's Bowling Champions

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Defending Conference Carolinas tournament champion Belmont Abbey has been picked to repeat the title in the 2024-25 Women’s Bowling preseason poll. Voting was conducted among the league’s head coaches.

The Abbey earned two first-place votes and four points, just ahead of Emmanuel’s three points and the other first-place vote and three points. Barton was picked third with two points.

Three Crusaders were named players to watch, led by junior Aubrey Lloyd (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.), who earned Bowler of the Year and first-team all-conference honors a year ago. Juniors Asah Glover of Charlotte (2023-24 first-team) and Canan Bademci of Patchogue, N.Y. (2022-23 second team) are previous All-Conference Carolinas honorees.

The 2024-25 season opener takes place this weekend at the DO Apparel-Brunswick Collegiate Open in Columbus, Ohio. The 2024-25 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship is scheduled for Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 23 at SuperBowl Bellewood in Newport, Ky.
