Crusaders Fourth After Day One of Midwest Collegiate Championship


WAUWATOSA, Wis. — Belmont Abbey placed three bowlers in the top 30 Saturday to stand fourth in the 53-team field at the Midwestern Collegiate Championship at Bowlero Wauwatosa.  Jordan Woods led the way with a five-game series of 1092, an average of 218.4 to stand 19th. Lance Owens is 23rd, while Connor Breaman sits 29th.

During the third game, the Crusaders set a school record with a traditional score of 1265.

Sunday’s action begins with 16 Baker games, then the top eight teams compete in single-elimination bracket play.
