Michael Deming Strikes in his First Men's WHAC Bowler of the Week


Grand Rapids, Mich. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced its weekly athletic honors on Monday (Oct. 7) afternoon. After an impressive performance at the Midwest Collegiate Championships, Michael Deming has been named the WHAC Men’s Bowler of the Week. This is the first time in Deming’s career that he has been named the Bowler of the Week.
 
Deming had an impressive week out on the lanes. He placed 7th in a field of 398 competitors, carrying the Saints to a 23rd place finish. He had a monster day, bowling 245, 206, 215, 224, and 245 for 1,135 pins, averaging 227 pins per game.
 
Deming has earned other impressive achievements throughout his time at Aquinas. He achieved All-WHAC second team (2023), CSC Academic All-District Team (2023), and CSC Academic All-American Second Team (2023). Deming achieved all of these accomplishments as a sophomore.

Deming will be at the Aquinas hosted Nelson at Station 300 Bowling Lanes. This will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 8:00 AM.
