SINKING SPRING, Pa. — Belmont Abbey split four matches during Sunday’s tournament play, then dropped a 4-2 decision in the placement round to take fourth place at the Golden Bear Invite, hosted by Kutztown State. The tournament was the opening action of the 2024-25 season.
The Crusaders defeated Division I Wagner and host Kutztown but lost to Caldwell and Alvernia.
The Abbey returns to action on Friday at the Valpo Bowling Classic.
