Last week saw continued success for AU athletics, as the Spartan men’s golf team took a first-place finish in the fall rounds of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship. The women’s bowling team picked up their first win of their season, while Deedee Colon Maldonado set a NACC record in the 6k in the AU women’s cross country team’s meet last Saturday. In addition, the Spartan football picked up a victory, while the women’s volleyball squad notched two wins on their senior day Saturday. Here is what to look out for this week in AU athletics this week:
Men’s Soccer (6-5-4, 5-2-2)
The AU men’s soccer team plays their final two conference matches this week, starting with a trip to Wisconsin Lutheran for a matchup with Warriors starting at 7:00 p.m. They come in with a 8-5-2 overall record and 4-3-2 showing in the NACC. The Spartans then come back home to Spartan Athletic Park to square off against St. Norbert starting at 1:00 p.m. The Green Knights are 5-7-3 overall and 5-3-1 in the NACC.

Last Week By The Numbers:

Women’s Soccer (2-8-2, 1-3-2)
The AU women’s soccer team will host Wisconsin Lutheran at Spartan Athletic Park starting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday night. The Warriors come in at 7-4-3 and even 3-3-3 record in the NACC. AU will stay at home this weekend for a matchup with St. Norbert at 3:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the men’s match. The Green Knights hold a 5-8-1 record and 4-4-1 record in the NACC.
