GREENVILLE, S.C. — Belmont Abbey freshman Jordan Woods has been the first Conference Carolinas Men’s Bowler of the Week for 2024-25, the league office announced today. The award is for all tournaments played before Oct. 21 as teams kickoff their seasons at different times.
Woods, who hails from nearby Statesville, N.C., led the Crusaders varsity players in all three tournaments this season. In 20 games, he owns a total pinfall of 4,396 for an average of 219.8. He posted a high game of 275 with three games over 250.
Woods has two Top-20 finishes this season — second at the DO Apparel-Brunswick Collegiate Open and 19th at the Midwest Collegiate Championships.
