Kaylee Back Named Conference USA Newcomer of the Month


JONESBORO, Ark. (11/6/24) – Arkansas State women’s bowling junior Kaylee Back was named Conference USA Newcomer of the Month for October, the league office announced Wednesday.

Back ranked inside the top 10 individually in both October events for the Red Wolves. The Oklahoma Christian transfer averaged 224.6 in 10 traditional games with eight of those 10 games going over 200 pins. She ranked 10th individually at the Penguin Classic with 1,073 pins for an average of 214.6 and led the field at Destination Orlando with 1,173 pins for an average of 234.6. Back guided A-State to a perfect 10-0 record in those 10 traditional matches and an overall mark of 21-5 with top four team finishes in both events.

A-State closes out the fall portion of its schedule Nov. 8-10 in Kenosha, Wis., at the Ladyjack Classic hosted by Stephen F. Austin. Live streaming is available on the Red Wolves Bowling YouTube page.
