Ramoska Named Men’s Bowler of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Belmont Abbey’s Alexander Ramoska has been named the Conference Carolinas’ Men’s Bowler of the Week, the league office announced today. The award is the first of the sophomore’s career and marks the eighth of the season for a member of the Crusader program.

Ramoska, a native of Shirley, N.Y., led the Crusaders at a pair of tournaments last weekend. In eight games, he finished with a total pinfall of 1681 and an average of 210.1. In that stretch he registered six games over 200 with a high game of 244.

He finished 12th at the MSC Lynne Jordan Memorial with a total pinfall of 851 and an average of 212.8 over four games. The following day, at the MSC Thomas N. Burris Memorial Ramoska finished 27th with a total pinfall of 830 and an average of 207.5.
