NEW ORLEANS, La. | The Alabama State women’s bowling team traveled to New Orleans to compete in the Tulane Allstate Sugar Bowl Collegiate Bowling Invite hosted by Tulane University on Friday (Oct. 14).
The Lady Hornets went 1-4 in baker play on day one of competition. Alabama State fell to Florida A&M, 912-888, followed by a loss to Alabama A&M, 914-876. ASU picked up their lone win of the day against UAB, 905-829 before falling to Jackson State (951-754) and University of Maryland Eastern Shore (928-871).Â
Day two of competition will resume tomorrow with traditional play at 8:55 a.m.
