WAUWATOSA, Wisc. — The Belmont Abbey men’s bowling team opened its 2023-34 season Saturday with six individual games at the Midwest Collegiate Championship. The Crusaders posted a total score of 5914 pins to stand 17th in the 48-team field.
Connor Breaman led the team with an average of 211.8 over his four games. Lance Owens and Caleb Huggins also averaged over 200 in their six games.
The tournament concludes tomorrow with 16 baker matches. The top eight teams in the standings advance to bracket play.
