Emma Stull Named A-State Bowling Assistant Coach


JONESBORO, Ark. (9/18/24) – One of the most decorated players in Arkansas State bowling history is staying in Jonesboro, as head coach Justin Kostick announced Wednesday the hiring of Emma Stull to his staff as assistant coach.

“We are excited to have Emma rejoin our program as an assistant coach,” Kostick said. “Emma had tremendous success for us but was an even better teammate and person. She will bring a strong presence to the team and push our players to be their very best. Her success in our program will be an asset to our players as she begins her coaching career.”

Stull was a five-year letterwinner and two-time NTCA All-America pick from 2019-24 at A-State.

“I’m thrilled to be rejoining this program in this role,” Stull said. “This university, bowling program and Red Wolf community mean so much to me, so to have the opportunity to take on this role is like a dream come true. I can’t wait to work with our players and continue to build this championship program.”

Wrapping up a remarkable five-year career wearing the Scarlet and Black, Stull garnered Second Team NTCA All-America honors last season. She helped lead A-State to its third runner-up finish at the National Collegiate Bowling Championship over the last four seasons.  

Last season, Stull ranked 12th nationally with a player composite performance index (PCPI) percentage of 94.655. The fifth-year senior rolled a traditional average of 210.5 and a Baker average of 207.6 for an overall average of 208.7. She carried a Baker double percentage of 53.5 percent on the year and had an average score of 9.14 on the first ball. Stull compiled an overall spare conversion rate of 72.7 percent, knocking down 89.5 percent of single pin spares. 

Stull finished the 2022-23 season ranked 18th in the PCPI index at 91.148 percent. A leadoff bowler throughout most matches, she rolled a traditional average of 208.9 and a Baker average of 198.4 for an overall average of 202.5. During the 2021-22 campaign, she ranked 15th in the PCPI at 61.927 percent, rolling a traditional average of 205.4 and a Baker average of 205.4 for an overall average of 203.9. She was an all-conference pick in 2019-20.

A Raleigh, N.C. native, Stull won the USA Bowling Southeast Regional U15 championship and a pair of tough shots Tour Tournament U20 girls’ titles. She added numerous accomplishments…
