Men's Bowling Picked Second in Preseason Poll


GREENVILLE, S.C. –- Belmont Abbey has been tabbed second in the Conference Carolinas Men’s Bowling preseason poll, the league office announced today. Voting was conducted among the head coaches.

Emmanuel earned two first-place votes and four points with the Crusaders gaining the third and three points.Barton is picked third with two points.

Three Crusaders were named as players to watch this year. Sophomore Ethan Bell (Springboro, Ohio) was the Freshman of the Year in 2023-24, while junior Connor Breaman (Greer, S.C) and sophomore Lance Owens (New Bern, N.C.) were all-conference selections a year ago.

The 2024-25 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship is scheduled for Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 23 at SuperBowl Bellewood in Newport, Ky.
