BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Blue Mountain Women’s Bowling finished its season this past weekend at the Mid-South Conference Championships where Halie Hatfield (SR/Baldwyn, Miss.) and Sarah Butts led the team, coming in 40th out of 45 teams in doubles.
In the team bracket, the Lady Toppers were the 13th seed, and were defeated in Round 1 by No. 4 seed Cumberlands and eliminated in the second round by No. 12 Lindsey Wilson.
BMC head coach Creighton Nelms said after the event, “The girls battled throughout the tournament championship and showed signs of improvement. We have a lot of good things to build on for next year.
Top-seeded Tennessee Southern captured the Mid-South Conference Women’s Bowling Championship Title on Saturday at Southern Lanes in Bowling Green, Ky.
The tournament concluded the 2021-22 season for the Lady Toppers.
