A-State Bowling Signs Amanda Lang

JONESBORO, Ark. (11/8/23) – Arkansas State bowling head coach Justin Kostick announced Wednesday that Amanda Lang has signed her National Letter of Intent to join the program for the 2024-25 season.

“Amanda will be a great addition to the team for 2024,” said Kostick. “She has had an outstanding prep career and we look forward to seeing what she can do as a Red Wolf.”

Lang, an Orlando native and standout for Trinity Prep School, is a two-time individual district champion and helped her team win the district title in 2021. Lang was named the Orlando Sentinel Bowler of the Year in 2022 with a 200 average, the repeat district championship and games of 246 and 220 at the state tournament. She established Trinity Prep records with a 257 game and a 674 three-game series. She was the runner-up at the 2023 FHSAA District 7 Championship.

At U18 Junior Gold this year, Lang finished 20th and she is a four-time Junior Gold qualifier. A tri-sport athlete at Trinity Prep, Lang averaged 9.2 points per game, second on the team, and led her team with 4.2 rebounds as a junior on the hardwood. In softball, she posted the second-highest on-base plus slugging (OPS) among the team with a .697 percentage that included two triples last spring.
