Men Seventh, Women 12th at WHAC Jamboree #3


Jackson, Mich. — The Aquinas bowling teams traveled to Jackson, Michigan, to compete in the WHAC Jamboree #1 on Saturday (Dec. 10) at the JAX 60. The men placed seventh out of 18 teams while the women took 12th out of 16 teams. 

MEN

Aquinas totaled 7,108 total pins. Indiana Tech won the men’s competition with a finish of 7,534 pins, followed by Spring Arbor (7,406) and Lawrence Tech (7,334).

Lawrence Tech won the men’s competition with a team total of 7,657 pins followed by Madonna (7,401) and Indiana Tech (7,387).

The JV team finished seventh out of 15 teams.

The Saints placed three bowlers in the Top 40.

WOMEN

The Saints knocked over 6,150 total pins for a 12th-place finish. Indiana Tech won the competition with 7,424 pins followed by Lourdes (7,041) and Concordia (7,017).

Kayla VanLinden led the Saints with a 10th-place finish individually.

The Saints are set to compete on Saturday and Sunday (Jan. 13 & 14) in the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic held at in Addison, Illinois, at the Stardust Lanes.
