BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – Former state bowling champion Alyssa Rice has signed to bowl for Blue Mountain College next season.
The Kossuth High School alum recorded an average score of 170 during her senior year at the Alcorn County school.
“I’m so glad I can continue my education and bowling career at such a great place as Blue Mountain College and I look forward to the season,” Rice said.
Blue Mountain College head coach Creighton Nelms stated, “I’m very happy Alyssa made the decision to join our team. She will be a key part of the future success of the women’s program.”
Rice’s signing bolsters a bowling program that has seen three other state champions sign on for the women’s team at the North Miss. Christian college.
