Alley Toppers place 6th at Seminole Classic

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Blue Mountain Christian Men finished sixth here Saturday at the Seminole Classic, finishing with 5,835 pins in the last regular season event.

Peter Moore (SR/Booneville, Miss.) led the way for the Alley Toppers, averaging 190.7 pins with a 1,335 total and high game of 200.

Moore and his teammates bowled seven games each in the seven-team event, priming themselves for upcoming postseason play.

“We held steady all day, had some rocky spots but bounced back,” BMCU interim head coach Bradley Palmer said.  “Peter averaged 190 over seven games and was strong for us today.  We will keep compiling the experience and momentum heading into the SSAC Tournament.”

Logan Akins (SO/Baldwyn, Miss.) – 162 Average, 1,134 Total

Mason Timmons (SO/Saltillo, Miss.) – 154 Average, 1,078 Total

BMCU will next compete at the Inaugural SSAC Championship Feb. 24-25 in Savannah, Ga.
