Vandy’s Northeast Classic tournament history
This tournament has good Vanderbilt vibrations. The Commodores won the inaugural championship in 2020. After skipping 2021 due to Covid travel restrictions, Vandy repeated in 2022 and led the entire tournament in 2023, earning the No. 1 seed, until dropping the title match to Nebraska.

Powerful field
Nineteen of the latest top 25 programs are expected to compete, making this one of the most talented tournaments of the year. With the exception of eighth-ranked Duquesne, the entire top 10 is competing in New Castle.
