Men’s Bowling finishes 10th at SCAD Shootout

SAVANNAH, Ga. – (Results) Blue Mountain College Men’s Bowling opened its season here Saturday at the SCAD Shootout, finishing up 10th out of 11 teams.

Several SSAC teams competed at the event, with host SCAD (Savannah) winning the overall team title at 3870 total pins in the four-game event.

Leading the way for the Alley Toppers was Drew Turberville (SR/Tupelo, Miss.) who scored a 7th place finish, averaging 193.5 total pins.

Logan Akins was 38th for Blue Mountain with a 160.75 average, Peter Moore (SR/Booneville, Miss.) finished 46th with a 153.5 average, Mason Timmons (SO/Saltillo, Miss.) was 48th at 153 pins and Greyson Blair (SO/Mantachie, Miss.) had 152.5 average pins in 49th.

Julian Salinas of SCAD-Savannah would take the individual title with a 236.5 average that included 946 pins.

BMC returns to the lanes November 19 at the Spring Hill Classic in Mobile, Ala.
