Bowie State Women's Bowling Eyes CIAA Championship, Quests for Seventh-Straight

BOWIE, Md. – The defending Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) champions Bowie State women’s bowling team will look to capture its seventh-straight conference title on Saturday, Mar. 25 and Sunday, Mar. 26 at the 2023 CIAA Women’s Bowling Championships held at the Lee Hi Lanes located at 1830 Apperson Drive, Salem, Va. 24153.

The championships will stream live periodically on Facebook for certain baker matches beginning at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday (3/25) and 9:45 a.m. on Sunday (3/26). Championship information can be found here

The Bulldogs claimed its eight consecutive Northern Division title after going 36-0 under the leadership of head coach Andrew Campbell. Bowie State will be one of eight teams competing in this year’s CIAA championship. BSU will more than likely be the No. 2 seed in the tournament with a 49-12 overall record and 44-4 mark in league action.
