COLUMBIA, Ky. – Thirty-seven Mid-South Conference men’s bowling student-athletes earned Academic All MSC honors, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

Blue Mountain’s Lucas Hartigan (JR/Tupelo, Miss.), Andrew Tomlin and Cody Weaver (JR/Walnut, Miss.) earned a spot on the prestigious list.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

Pikeville (Ky.) led all Mid-South programs with six honorees. Campbellsville (Ky.), Martin Methodist (Tenn.) and Thomas More (Ky.) had four honorees each.

BMC head coach Creighton Nelms said, “I’m very proud of these three young men.  They have done a tremendous job as student-athletes in balancing their sport and work in the classroom.  It’s not an easy thing to accomplish, so they are to be commended.”
